Jeremy incubates startups in biotech, education, health and space. He earned a PhD from MIT in Artificial
Intelligence; was the founder and CEO of ITA Software; and was a VP of Engineering at Google. He serves on
various boards and committees.
About Us
John Torous
John is a board certified psychiatrist with expertise in clinical informatics who is passionate about
using technology to help people improve their mental health. He has developed standards for mental health
smartphone app evaluation and researched digital mental health for nearly a decade with over 250 resulting
scientific papers.
Jenny Melcher
Jenny graduated with a degree in Psychology from Middlebury College before working in psychiatry research
with a focus on the ongoing college mental health crisis. The pervasiveness of mental health struggles on
college campuses across the country has inspired Jenny to work to find scalable and sustainable mental
health support for college students.
Lev Novikov
Lev does technical work in education, biotech, health, and space. He has degrees in Computer Engineering
from RIT and Human Factors in Information Design from Bentley. He was previously a Software Systems
Engineer at MITRE where he worked for over a decade on a wide range of projects including high assurance
cryptography and decision support systems for the highest levels of government.
